Beverly began her career in Real Estate in San Diego in the 1980’s. She worked with Grubb and Ellis and specialized in Equestrian Properties and Land. She was the President of the Horse Property Broker’s Association and sold properties all over Southern California. Among her more notable sales were The Rancho Bernardo Riding Club, the San Luis Rey Training Center, Faubus Farms, and numerous large parcels of land. Beverly also authored many articles in The Horsetrader Magazine, The Morgan Horse Magazine, The Equestrian Connection, Young Equestrian and was the subject of an article about equestrian properties in the San Diego Union Newspaper. She eventually relocated to Northern California, first Lake Tahoe and then Grass Valley, where she joined United Country Real Estate. She has lived in Grass Valley now for over 20 years and continues to specialize in horse properties and rural land. Beverly is a lifelong horsewoman and she and her husband Skip owned Meadowcreek Morgans. Out of 12 foals that they bred, 5 went on with their new owners to become World Champions in Western Pleasure, Dressage and Western Dressage. Beverly’s love for animals started early. She swam in an underwater show with dolphins and sea lions at Sea World San Diego and eventually became the first woman in the world to ride a Killer Whale, the original Shamu. While living at Lake Tahoe, she bred and showed Alaskan Malamutes and raced them as a sled team, becoming the first Malamute team to win the Lake Tahoe Sled Dog Race. Her involvement with Morgan Horses began in 1990 when she bred her gelding Top Gun who she still owns at age 29. She also bred Meadowcreek Maverick who she trail rides and has shown in Cowboy Dressage. Her many years in Real Estate have given her a wide ranging knowledge of the requirements of buyers and sellers as well as the specialized marketing required for these types of unique properties. Her creative needs are fulfilled by being a gourd artist. Of course, many of her gourds feature horses or western motifs. She has won Best of Division for 4 years at the Nevada County Fair and the Draft Horse Classic Harvest Fair. Beverly takes the time to really get to know her clients and their needs and takes great care in finding the ideal property or marketing a property to the best of her ability.

Mary was born in a town called Northridge, which is located in Southern California. Her Mom would tell you the first word she said as a baby was horsey. She got her first pony at age 6 and entered her first Horse show at age 10. For the next 12 years Mary and her Father went from Horse Shows to Rodeos, Barrel Racing, and Pole Bending. These were some of the highlights of her early years. Mary wrote in her Senior year book that one day she would live in Northern California. She had gone there as a child while vacationing with her family and she never forgot the town of Auburn. She thought Auburn was the most beautiful town she has ever seen. Mary had a passion for helping people and entered college to become a Respiratory Therapist, in which she had a long and rewarding career of 35 years with Kaiser Permanente. During that time, Mary met and fell in love with a USAF officer named ED, who swept her off her feet, which landed them in Northern California. She left everything and everyone she knew and they started their new life together in Northern California, where they bought a ranch, 12 miles from Auburn. Mary & ED raised 3 boys, and many horses, and animals. ED & Mary continued their careers and at every TDY vacation, Mary would drag ED to Open Houses. She loved Open Houses, decorating homes and home shows. Little did she know then, that she was going to become a Realtor. Mary enjoyed being a military wife and supporting her husband's career. When they moved to Northern California, Mary said she felt like the luckiest girl in the world. She loved her new town in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and all it had to offer. With the numerous riding trails, lakes, rivers and wildlife, they had found their paradise in this little town name Pilot Hill. The Foothills have so much to offer.
Mary's husband Ed lost his life in 2012. After that loss Mary decided to retire from the Medical Profession, and spent the next few years sailing. While out on the ocean one afternoon is when Mary decided to become a Realtor. She loved working with people and Real Estate has reopen an avenue to once again, be working with and helping people, find their dream home, their piece of paradise.
Mary will take your objectives to heart and help make them a reality. It is her goal to exceed her client's expectations with her attention to detail, unwavering work ethic, and dedicated client care. Mary knows what it takes to be a great Realtor - loyalty, integrity, and patience to find just the right property.
Mary joined United Country because of the integrity of the company, and it's long history. The day Mary arrived at United Country she said she felt like she was home, after all, it really started many years ago, when she drove with her family through Auburn.
